Re: Time for Norlog to die?

Nicely put Jono, and sensible ideas. Thanks Jono. Well balanced, as usual :) Neil It’s a shame you can’t like posts as John’s post gets a like from me 👍🏻 and this sums up facebook - a quick like and on your way, no need to comment or say anything. It doesn't actually encourage communication, or dis...

Re: Time for Norlog to die?

Personally I don’t think adding it as a sub forum in TLF is the answer, I can’t see anyone using it. With regards to side groups using what’s app I’m not aware of any other than Andy Smiths LDC one. Andy does organise some really good events and generally cross posts them to the Facebook group and ...

Re: Time for Norlog to die?

I’ll cross post to here, I think we probably need to get a few of us together one night for a drink and see what we think is the best way forward.
Personally I think it would be a shame but also appreciate it takes time and effort to run.
I’m sure between a few of us we could come up with a plan :)

Re: We have sadly lost a long time Lotus owner

Nice to see your still about Rob. Is it really twenty years since you got the elise? I still remember you getting it and bringing it up to the three pigeons which was a pretty regular haunt for us on a Wednesday evening. I was always quite a big fan of the red excel With its big comfy seats 😀 Who wo...

Re: We have sadly lost a long time Lotus owner

Hello Richard, Sorry for the slow reply, yes it’s twenty years since we got this thing off the ground which is pretty scary. I have some brilliant memories of the runs we did, we were literally out every weekend, I managed to put 16k on my S1 in twelve months driving evenings and weekends lol. Sadly...

Re: We have sadly lost a long time Lotus owner

Hi Guys I am one of the original members from Norlog which was set up nearly 20 years ago. A few words on Dale - he was also one of the original Norlog Members and also a member of Club Lotus - he had elans, esprits and elises plus other marques over the years. - his most recent being a lovely yell...

Dave, I’m having a few issues. If I use man grade shower gel on my hair it’s quite tough and difficult to style but if I steal the wife’s conditioner it just goes really soft and fluffy. What’s your recommendation?

Great day today! Re: Member Paddy, sad news

Thanks guys, yes everyone that was Pad. I had forgotten about his shins  they met the tray under the S2 dashboard. My main memory was the crunching noise as he pulled his arm out of the wing mirror... I genuinely thought his hand had come off. He brought a coffee cup with him in the morning a...

Member Paddy, sad news

A few of you will no doubt remember Paddy who had the yellow S1 that Ollie dropped a K20a into. I managed to put him through the windscreen of my purple S2 111s on the way back from a norlog meet at Oulton Park. He lived around the corner from me and even though he sold the Elise a couple of years b...

Re: Norlog track day interest

I suppose the question is would people be interested based on a different none gold cup clashing date? Based o...
