I wonder if people might join in with this to keep some interest in the Forum alive? great car, and that you're posting a progress thread on here, well done Carl, if a few more of us would do this, it would help keep the forum going and people do like build threads. I've got one on here and will keep updating it when I've progressed it further.

can't answer your questions about S240/260 Exige cars, but I specifically didn't order Race Pack on my V6 Exige, due to the shock and stress put through the transmission system whenever Launch Mode is used. I think the ECU stores this info (how many time launch has been used - but don't know how to ...

bit of an update, the blue car is coming on, all fuel, oil and coolant hoses are plumbed in. Engine to ECU wiring is done. Clutch and brake systems are finished with fluid in. Gear cables connected up. Air induction is completed. Just final Lotus loom to VAG anciliaries and a few other wiring jobs a...

no, just to tidy them up, as they were rough (I know it wont be seen), but yes the 'Raptor' coating should offer better durability.

not much progress in recent months, but have now finished fitting lights, wiring and mesh to clams, ready for final fitting.

yeah, its a sort of semi retirement, I still like working, but its a lot less than full time. can pick and choose how much I do - good balance for me.

cheers, yeah expect it to be loud, going for a smaller 2.5" outlet, and it is re-packable, but I like loud!

got the clams back tonight, so placed them on, will bolt them on properly tomorrow and take some pics out in the sunshine - looks really good.

no, I got the mounts and other parts from a guy down south, who isn't doing these anymore. Drive-shafts were bespoke items from Beagle Engineering.
much easier to build Honda powered conversions now.
engine back in tomorrow!

busy day today, panels, doors refitted, very pleased with paint work, looks much better with sun on it.
(door shut line is out on drivers side, due to new seals fitted, is this usual?)
