I think it was 12 2x4's (or a euro compliant version of approximating that measurement!) in the 3M variety!

While I was loading them up I had a conversation with a bemused mini owner and I convinced him that my car was more practical than his :blink:

Mine did something similar just before it came out of warranty, and it had a new throttle positioner thing installed by CNs. Intermittently (but generally when cold I think) it would take on a mind of its own and do a kind of boy racer rev while stationary, they changed it and it fixed the problem. ...

I've just dropped mine off to have the front clam tidied up (I managed to scrape it on a kerb :( ) before it goes up for sale. I had some great recommendations for him, and from his customer service to date I can wholeheartedly recommend him.
