Re: Time for Norlog to die?

As a long time Norlog forum absentee, I must apologise for my lack of attendance. As I explained in a FB comment earlier today, I much prefer the forum as a means of keeping in touch with matters Norlog and, for that matter, Nyloc. I pledged in my FB post to keep a closer eye on Norlog.net and to t...

Re: Autosport mag

Just posted this on exiges.com . . . I emailed Autosport and have now spoken to someone who has clarified matters. My existing subscription continues at the old price but when it's up for renewal the new charges will apply. I will kick print into touch and go digital for a much more reasonable annua...

Autosport mag

Apologies for my longtime absence form Norlog. But just wondered about the following . . . Just idling away my morning and happened to notice the cover of current Autosport shows a price of £10.99. A price increase was mentioned in a previous issue but no figures were mentioned. As a yearly subscrib...

Re: Top boozer

Spent many a happy hour outside pubs across the Fylde, reading Motor Sport, drinking a shandy and in the summer tuning in to live Le Mans commentary on the wireless.

http://streaming.britishpathe.com/hls-vod/flash/00000000/00004000/00004207.mp4.m3u8 I hope the above link works . . . This is a pub about 10 miles from where I live. But in the late 60s I used to visit with my parents. I’d sit in the car park and feast on prawn sandwiches or chicken in the basket bu...

Re: So, I’ve gone to the dark side !!

Dave, I’m having a few issues. If I use man grade shower gel on my hair it’s quite tough and difficult to style but if I steal the wife’s conditioner it just goes really soft and fluffy. What’s your recommendation? Oh sorry for a second there I thought I’d logged on to mumsnet I couldn’t possibly e...

Re: NORLOG and LDC Joint Meeting 14th October

Bit belated but thanks Andy for organising. It was a great turnout. Among others there who are not strictly Norloggers were Steve Bestwick(Elise, Evora and S1 Exige owner) from Carlisle, who was passengering on this occasion with Andrew Baker In military green Exige S3 and Tim Hodgson in white s/c E...

Re: Where's Ollie?

All sorted, Ollie was on the doorstep as I’d hoped. Great job all round as usual.. .oil and filter, gear linkage bushes replaced to cure “stickiness” and n/S window glued back in.
Top job, even if transport there via bus and train was a long drawn out job.

Where's Ollie?

Been trying to get hold of Ollie today to confirm a booking for a service and repair on Monday but getting no reply at Phoenix.
I'll keep trying on the phone but does anyone have any clues as to his whereabouts?
