Blink are great. Full on laser geo setup machines with printouts etc and will set it up to your own, standard or their recommended specs for your intended use.

Fun Route North Manchester (Bury) > Carlisle

Hi All, I need to get to Edinburgh and back next week with a bit of time on my hands and hopefully some decent weather to give the Elise a good long run out. I'm up there frequently but usually with family in boring car so M6/A7 or M6/A702 depending on what side of Edinburgh we are heading for. I fa...

Re: Where to get a wheel bearing replaced?

I needed one done last year and just took the hub and new bearing along to my local (Sale) 'normal car' garage I use quite a bit and gave them some beer and precise instructions (ali hub heat and cold etc) and they did it no hassle. Not too complicated a job for a normal garage.

Re: Commuting Buxton > Middleton - Am I mad?

We have considered moving further North but we spend a lot of weekends in North Wales so makes it a bit of a mission. Our biggest problem is that we don't have any family in Manchester area so we don't really have a reason to live anywhere specific so I think it might come down to the house and scho...

Re: Commuting Buxton > Middleton - Am I mad?

Ha ha - I come from the East Lothian originally and compared to Manchester it's like the desert. It rains here ALL THE TIME!! Thanks very much for the info, sounds like early starts are on the card which I don't mind. Think we probably need to broaden the search to Hayfield/Whaley Bridge/Disley etc ...

Commuting Buxton > Middleton - Am I mad?

Think there are a few folk based in Peak District on here so thought I'd stick up a post to garner opinion... We are renting in Sale just now and I am commuting up to Bury which is not too bad, but I am going to start a new job based in Middleton in May (just off M60) and we are considering buying a...

Thanks to StephenM @ SVR, Olly @ Phoenix + Gaz @ Spitfire

Well, I made a standard error and got a bit too well acquainted with a verge I like to tinker with the car myself so replaced the toe link I bent with a set of Spitfire toelinks. The service from Gaz was brilliant - I am very picky about car bits and he has been very accommodating. The toe links are...
