Re: Maldonado

madonado... he has had some real bad luck this season. ( Agreed - they say lightning never strikes twice, but what's the odds of another car choosing to be the same place Pastor wants to be so often? I know a bloke who was pooped on by a passing blackbird once - incredibly bad luck. We tried to wor...

Re: Its Goodbye to my Elise S. Hello Evora S

Nice one Andy. good call on the stripe as well - that's bloody awful. The good thing is - you might not be the first owner of the car, but clearly you;re the first owner of the car with a sense of class. I rarely get up to the cat these days (b;lame the child), but I look forward to lusting after it...

Ahahaha, welcome to the club boys

m So, after years of seeing the abuse Dave's Sofa got, or general poking at my girlie Boxster - it looks like your beloved Lotus brand finally gave in to market pressure and will build large sofas on stilts. Admittedly, the press release is promising to add lightness - but the sceptic in me is think...

Re: E-petition - Mandatory Noise Complaint Waiver-

The big piss boiler is that the Croft suit was brought by the ex missus of the Croft promoter - purely out of spite.
I have never met this vile creature, but if I ever did I'd follow her until she got in a lift, and fart in it.

Re: Old owner coming back to the fold.

Dave, you have a rival - them's the shiniest cars I've seen in a long time! =) Good to see another brave bloke - a couple of Honda flirtations aside, that's the most brilliantly "playing with fire" car ownership list I've seen - nothing but Lotus / Metro Turbo / French. Unipart must love y...

I'd like the honour of being the first to confirm...

Then the second honour of being punted off by Dave for the audacity of having a dirty car..

Don't let the "wrong car" put you off - I've never even owned a lotus! Besides, 7's are cool as hell - especially in retro 70's TV drama spec =)

You might also want to look for the thread on the Norlog vs TIPEC karting challenge next year, should be a good laugh.

Re: The beginning of the end?

A bike rack on a 996? If you can find one it'll be mega expensive. You'd get my respect though! If you have kids that are taller, a 911 is a pretty uncomfortable place to be anyway. More sensibly, you could go for (in decreasing awesomeness of sound): C63 AMG, S6, IS-F, M5 estate, RS4. Not sure on t...

Re: Thinking of going black!

Lol Thing is, if you buy a chav coloured car, then you can do the black wheels. However, you bought one of the classy elise colours so you can't go black or you'll look "mums corsa". Black works on yellow, bradford white, and at a push guards red / red bull blue. Imo it doesn't work on bri...

Re: Thinking of going black!

Jason,

By all means black the diffuser (matt, it'll not stay glossy anyways), and get carbon intakes because they're nice.

But for the love of god, don't paint the wheels black. You're a lot older than 17, and it's not a base model corsa. Don't make it look like one :)
