Anywhere open for MOT

Post by Ogilthorpe » Wed Mar 25, 2020 5:52 am

Morning All

Understandably Oakmere have had to cancel my MOT and Service that were booked for a couple of weeks time.

Happy to wait until life returns to normal to get a Lotus Stamp in my Service Book - but I really need to try and get an MOT done in the next couple of weeks if at all possible.

Can anyone recommend an MOT station that is used to handling Elise/Exiges? Ideally somewhere within 25 miles of Chapel en le frith? (or maybe know where Oakmere get their's done?)

Bit of a first world problem I know given the state of things at the moment...

Many thanks, Tim

Try blind dennis at Dennis Newton's MOT centre, holmes chapel.
He always has interesting csrs in, rally cars etc. I doubt he'd get phased by an exige, even if slightly nonstandard.

Thanks Graham - also found an old thread which mentions Windy Ridge garage just outside Holmes Chapel :)

Thanks guys. Mine expired before 30th March so no 6 months extension and I have to get it done. Booked in next week. As long as nothing changes...
