Some Sad News

Post by Pesky » Thu Oct 20, 2016 2:03 pm

Hi Folks

Haven't posted here for quite some time - I no longer live in the UK.

Longer standing Norlog Members will no doubt remember Chris Regan aka "Biglenz" who lived in Bolton, owned an S1 Elise & was a regular attendee at the old Watermillock & Boatyard meetings. Sadly, Chris suffered a fatal heart attack on Tuesday.

Chris was a larger than life character & it was an absolute joy to be in his company. Myself & others enjoyed many trips to the Le Mans events between 2001 & 2012, & Chris was the life & soul of the party with a great sense of humour, a talent for mimickry & a pretty good singing voice!

Sorry to be bearer of such sad news but thought those that knew Chris would want to know.

RIP Biglenz, it was an honour & privilege to know you as a great mate.

Hi Bob, sad news :( I remember Chris - Biglenz, only met him the once though. Thanks for letting us know.

Nice to see you are still around, shame for the circumstances. I hope life is treating you well, I suspect it probably is. Keep enjoying the life.

What a shame, he was indeed a nice bloke with a great sense of humour.

My condolences to his family.

funeral details

Post by tazbabes » Fri Oct 21, 2016 6:07 pm

Friday 28th at 2pm, St Peters Church, Belmont then afterwards at The Black Dog. Jackie Regan (his brother's wife) would love to see any of his friends attend but would appreciate numbers.

I am in contact with a friend on facebook and can forward the details of anyone who would like to attend.

I thought I would add a picture of Chris to see if it jogs any memories for people that may have known him to talk to but perhaps did not know his name.

This is my fave picture of Chris. Our gang enjoyed many wonderful trips to Le Mans between 2001 & 2012.

Yeah the wake was good.....kind of weird 'cause it's supposed to be sad...be I actually really enjoyed it.
Drunk too much wine.....had a chance to meet some really nice friends and family of Chris's.

All in all..I think it's how Chris must have wanted it....pity he was not there really..he would have had a laugh!!
