Emira

I must say I was a bit underwhelmed by the launch event. No details of the car. Engine / gearbox / softtop / price ...

Car looks nice and good to see a manual being driven.

I think it looks fantastic! Seems they're targeting a different segment of the market than we're used to but could definitely see one on the drive one day, ideally next to an Elise/Exige :)

I thought the whole launch looked amateurish and cobbled together.

The Emira looks nice but doesn't blow me away, hopefully it will look better in the flesh

I think it looks well, will reserve full judgement until I see it in the flesh but overall a good job I think.

The weight is a non-issue in my eyes, people do not want stripped out cars these days (many Lotus owners say they do but then add A/C, ICE with subwoofers, sound deadening etc etc) and the technology brings weight. Also, the current Evora 410 is over 1300kgs so not exactly a big gain in weight considering the extra stuff included.

Biggest thing that got my attention was the 1900mm width, that is the size of a current 911, odd for a car that is competing with a Cayman! Would be tight on a lot of the roads I drive on regularly

Still no confirmed prices yet either.

I hope it works for them, might tempt me back into one :)
