bit more progress, sills painted tonight.
this is tipping point for me, it can all be built up from this point.

busy day today, panels, doors refitted, very pleased with paint work, looks much better with sun on it.
(door shut line is out on drivers side, due to new seals fitted, is this usual?)

Jeez that is some build. Love the attention to deta taken. When you fitted the engine, was it fairly straightforward to mount the engine up? Are the parts such as mounts and driveshafts etc available off the shelf these days?

no, I got the mounts and other parts from a guy down south, who isn't doing these anymore. Drive-shafts were bespoke items from Beagle Engineering.
much easier to build Honda powered conversions now.

got the engine back in tonight, lots of plumbing in to do now.

got the clams back tonight, so placed them on, will bolt them on properly tomorrow and take some pics out in the sunshine - looks really good.

cheers, yeah expect it to be loud, going for a smaller 2.5" outlet, and it is re-packable, but I like loud!

Agreed when it looks that good you can get away with loud (i'd go with the 3 inch :D )
