yeah, its a sort of semi retirement, I still like working, but its a lot less than full time. can pick and choose how much I do - good balance for me.

Did you paint the insides of the panels to avoid issues with water ingress causing paint bubbling ?

no, just to tidy them up, as they were rough (I know it wont be seen), but yes the 'Raptor' coating should offer better durability.

bit of an update, the blue car is coming on, all fuel, oil and coolant hoses are plumbed in. Engine to ECU wiring is done. Clutch and brake systems are finished with fluid in. Gear cables connected up. Air induction is completed. Just final Lotus loom to VAG anciliaries and a few other wiring jobs and we're there.
V6 Exige will be up for sale soon, just not using it - done less than 10k miles in 5 years and collecting this tomorrow to replace it:

we have power!! - rewire complete, collecting car tomorrow, ECU has a basic map loaded, so once all plumbing is finished and checked, it's fill up and try for start-up.
Great rewire/electrical work by Ken Cooper of Competition Wiring Systems.

car is now at Decimal Tenths (VAG specialists in Newcastle), may feature their work on my car in a YouTube video, check them out. They currntly have a RS200 in for some work. They are finishing off the bits I can't and getting it running and tuned on their rolling road. Hoping to get it back fully finished and be on the road in early spring next year. Here it is on trailer arriving at temp home as we await completion of our new home in Anglesey.
